Hello from PortraitBug + family.  We hope you join us on our mission to create beautiful art. Here at PortraitBug we believe art should be accessible, affordable, and most of all fun. As NYC’s first hybrid store dedicated to family photography + scrapbooking, we want to get your photos out of the computer or box in the closet so you can show the world your creativity.

What kind of scrapbooking store does NYC deserve? We think the most trendsetting + artistic store there could be. This isn’t going to be your average scrapbooking store. We are urban. We are hip. We are going to set the bar so high you might not be able to see it. But we will surely teach you to hang from it. 

Our in-store photography will be simple + modern or just ridiculously playful. Striking black + white images illustrate our style since we want your kids photos to be timeless. But we also have no shame when it comes to giving kids what they want, so prepare yourself for some cool greenscreen techniques to allow junior to play flying superhero or floating fairy princess. Most importantly, good photography doesn’t need to be outrageously expensive – we promise.
